Recently, interior doors from inconspicuous but necessary elements have become part of the interior and received a new additional function – connect the space of neighboring rooms. For this, glass doors are often used – they pass light, combine the space of rooms, while increasing the volume of each room. Thanks to the glass doors, the appearance of the room improves, it becomes more individual, stylish, modern. Glass doors are elegant, originality and grace and ability to successfully fit into any interior, which, of course, causes great interest to customers.
In Europe, glass interior doors have long become familiar, and in Russia they have long been associated with entrances to the subway and checkpoints at factories and at institutes. However, recently perception has been changing: functionality and elegance make glass interior doors suitable for any interior.
The history of glass doors begins in the 20s of the nineteenth century, in the era of constructivism. The architects of that time sought to use the usual materials in a new way, although the development of industry did not yet reach the level that would allow them to realize their bold ideas.
These projects received a chance for implementation later, when science and technology reached a new level. One of these was the idea of using glass in the design of the design of the premises.
A large impetus for the use of glass doors in residential premises was the spread of the high-tech style, which expanded the scope of the use of such doors, going beyond public buildings and shopping centers.
In addition, frameless glass doors are used even in showers, baths and saunas.
