In recent years, flexible containers for storing oil and fuel and lubricants are gaining more and more demand. Their prevalence is explained by the characteristics and innumerable advantages.
The history of the development of polymer tanks
The prototype of today’s oil tanks was rubberized tanks, the production of which was established in the USSR back in 1936. At the same time, a massive construction of underground fuel warehouses based on rubber capacities began, due to which the state order for the manufacture of oil tanks has significantly increased. In 1953, the first batch of new containers was developed and released – MR tanks. They gained great popularity and became in demand for various needs throughout the USSR.
Large -scale production of Type Type contained until 1986, after which it began to go to naught, since the state’s need for oil tanks of this type of began to decline. Since rubber containers were produced using the volcanization method, the material was not adapted to the conditions of extremely low and high temperatures. After the collapse of the USSR, the release of oilfields of the MR completely stopped.
In the early nineties in the USA and Canada, a technological polymer material was developed, which had excellent characteristics. Polymer tanks in quality many times exceeded rubber -legged analogues, so they completely replaced them on the market. Today, in Russia, soft tanks are produced at Neftetank using its own technology.
Features of polymer tanks for oil and oil products
The use of oil oils is wide. They are used not only for long -term storage and transportation of fuel and lubricants, but also for liquid fertilizers, drinking and technical water, as well as for many other liquid substances. The polymer material from which containers are produced is inert to almost all chemicals, due to which it becomes possible to storage even the most aggressive oil refining products.
In the empty state, the polymer reservoir has the appearance of a rectangle, and in the filled one resembles a pillow in shape. It consists of two polymer paintings cooked around the perimeter. Welding of the joints is carried out according to a special patented methodology, thanks to which the capacity eliminates the possibility of leaks of stored substances.
A high -strength polymer, from which flexible oil reservoirs are made, does not miss the evaporation of stored substances, are stable not only to chemical exposure, but also to corrosion, ultraviolet rays, mechanical loads (friction, compression, excessive stretching, breaks, cracks). Thanks to these qualities, polymer containers and tanks can be located not on a special basis, but simply on Earth.
